In a learning path
PCM can sit near the start of a path when it is a fit.
When this class is a fit
PCM is for people who must help others through change.
It is not a fit when:
- The learner has little influence over organizational design
Often a stronger starting point when
- The current need: Help the organization through change
- The learner’s work: Consultant or trainer
- Influence over organizational design: Significant (e.g., I manage/direct the organization or large business unit)
- The learner’s work: Manager
- The learner’s work: Executive
- Influence over organizational design: Considerable (e.g., I manage the work of several teams)
